Top Down Games on iOS in Slovenia Q2 2023

The second quarter of 2023 saw interesting trends in the performance of top-down games on the iOS platform in Slovenia. Data from Sensor Tower reveals a mix of growth and decline across various metrics for the leading apps in this category. Here, we break down the performance of the top five games: MONOPOLY GO!, Block Blast！, Chess - Play & Learn, Magic Tiles 3: Piano Game, and 8 Ball Pool™.

MONOPOLY GO! from Scopely, Inc. saw a significant increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $586 in the week of June 19. Weekly downloads experienced a downward trend, starting from 2.3K in early May and dropping to about 747 by the end of June. Meanwhile, weekly active users rose to 5.5K by mid-May and then gradually declined to around 4K by the end of the quarter.

Block Blast！ from Hungry Studio showed a relatively stable performance in terms of weekly downloads, which hovered around 300-700 throughout the quarter. Weekly active users increased steadily, reaching 2.2K by mid-June. However, there was no revenue generated during this period.

Chess - Play & Learn by Chess.com had a moderate revenue stream, peaking at $194 in the first week of April. The app’s weekly downloads showed a consistent decline, from 431 in early April to 205 by the end of June. Weekly active users also saw a gradual decrease, ending the quarter at around 7.4K.

Magic Tiles 3: Piano Game by Amanotes Pte. Ltd. experienced relatively low revenue, fluctuating around $4 to $16 throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads varied from 190 to 352, while active users remained relatively stable, peaking at approximately 2.6K in mid-June.

Finally, 8 Ball Pool™ from Miniclip.com maintained a steady revenue stream, reaching up to $172 in early April. Weekly downloads ranged between 202 and 348, while active users fluctuated around 11K to 13K, displaying a slight decline towards the end of the quarter.
